Jeep Wrangler, Gladiator reportedly getting Gorilla Glass windshield upgrade
According to a leak by the enthusiasts at Mopar Insiders, a Gorilla Glass windshield version of the Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator is soon to be released as an option. With some early rumblings of customers being able to upgrade to this glass for around $95, looks like Jeep has finally been listening to the complaints of fragile front windshields.

PartsHawk has the latest news about the Jeep Wrangler, Gladiator, and much more.

Gorilla Glass Update

Turns out the Wrangler and Gladiator models are perfect for a Gorilla Glass upgrade. For years owners of the duo have complained about how easily the windshield cracks, this is attributed to the design. Unlike most vehicles, the Wrangler and Gladiator have flat windshields, which means that stones hit directly, instead of grazing off. Gorilla Glass could be a great alternative to solve this issue, without having to completely redesign the iconic look of the Wrangler and Gladiators.

The design of the new windshield will “consist of a combination of an ultra-thin Gorilla Glass inner ply with a 52% thicker outer ply." However, the report claims that only a select few models will have the option to upgrade.
